Conditions of Use
In using the IGCSE Bookshop website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for preventing unauthorised access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You should take all necessary steps to ensure that your password is kept confidential and secure.
Please ensure that the details you provide us with are correct and inform us immediately of any changes to the information you provided when creating your account.
The IGCSE Bookshop reserves the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion.
Retention of Title
Notwithstanding delivery of the Goods, legal and beneficial ownership of all Goods supplied by The IGCSE Bookshop shall remain with The IGCSE Bookshop until we have received payment in full, in cleared funds, for those Goods and any other sums due from the Customer under any contract between the Customer and The IGCSE Bookshop.
Until ownership of the Goods passes to the Customer:
- the Customer shall hold the Goods as bailee for The IGCSE Bookshop and shall keep the Goods separate from other goods wherever reasonably practicable and clearly identified as the property of The IGCSE Bookshop;
- the Customer shall take reasonable care of the Goods and keep them in satisfactory condition;
- the Customer shall not sell, pledge, charge or otherwise dispose of the Goods except with the prior written consent of The IGCSE Bookshop.
If the Customer fails to make payment when due, enters administration, liquidation, receivership, enters into a voluntary arrangement with creditors, ceases or threatens to cease trading, or becomes subject to any insolvency proceedings or analogous event, The IGCSE Bookshop shall be entitled, without prejudice to any other rights or remedies, to:
- require the Customer to deliver up immediately all unpaid Goods in its possession;
- enter any premises where the Goods are reasonably believed to be located, with reasonable notice where required by law, for the purpose of inspecting, identifying and recovering the Goods; and
- recover possession of the Goods without liability for any resulting loss or damage, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
The Customer shall promptly inform any administrator, liquidator, receiver or insolvency practitioner appointed over its affairs that ownership of any unpaid Goods supplied by The IGCSE Bookshop remains vested in The IGCSE Bookshop.
Risk in the Goods shall pass to the Customer upon delivery, but ownership shall remain with The IGCSE Bookshop until payment has been received in full in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
